3. Community Run in Oberwil-Lieli

TransSwissRun
The TransSwissRun is a non-stop foot race connecting the western and eastern ends of Switzerland. This will be the first edition in this format, taking place over 7 days, from Sunday, 14 September, to Sunday, 21 September 2025.
Description and registration: Un Défi, une Passion, une Aventure suisse authentique - Site de transswissrun ! in English et en Français
This route of over 500 km, with 10,000 metres of elevation gain, extends from the commune of Chancy in the canton of Geneva to Müstairin the canton of Grisons.
The event predominantly takes place on roads and gravel paths, crossing five cantons and five mountain passes, four of which are over 2,000 metres in altitude.
Participants will have the opportunity to experience three national languages and admire breathtaking landscapes: shimmering lakes, lush forests, bucolic valleys, and picturesque villages.
Two-thirds of the route follows roads and paths dedicated to cyclists. These well-marked routes offer increased safety and are easily navigable on foot, even at night.
The organisers wish to inform participants in advance that this event is very challenging. There will be no official aid stations, the race is non-stop, the elevation gain is significant, multiple languages are spoken, and some sections are far from shops, hotels, and restaurants, making personal support significantly safer.
Results will be available on DUV.
